For over 100 years Leprosy Mission Australia has partnered with Australians to ensure that people affected by leprosy across the world get the cure, care, and restoration they need to live life in all its fullness. As part of a global network comprised of 30 Members, they are working together to reach their goal of zero leprosy transmission by 2035. The Leprosy Mission extends the hand of ‘mateship’ to those affected by leprosy, disability and other marginalised people. Their supported programs are on the ground in India, Nepal, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Timor-Leste.

Engagement Lead

Reporting to the CEO, this newly created Engagement Lead position plays a vital role in providing a superior experience for existing supporters as well as attracting new supporters. Based in the Box Hill, Melbourne office, the Engagement Lead will work collaboratively across teams to support campaigns, appeals, and key events, driving excellence in supporter care.

This will include:

  • Developing initiatives, programs and processes to grow and nurture meaningful engagement through fundraising activities, community events, volunteer development, customer service functions and new activities.
  • Managing the Supporter Care team for both inbound and outboard calling, supporter journeys development, and event management.
  • Helping to grow the reputation and attractiveness of The Leprosy Mission Australia as it pursues its goal to be one of Australia’s central mission agencies for the world’s most outcast and neglected people.

Campaigns Coordinator

Reporting to the Fundraising and Communications Lead, the Campaigns Coordinator plays a key role in connecting supporters and donors to the heart of TLMA’s work through unforgettable multi-channel fundraising campaigns. This newly created role will collaborate across teams to deliver campaigns that inspire generosity and deepen engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic fundraising campaigns and appeals
  • Crafting compelling donor communications and managing campaign performance
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-impact direct marketing initiatives
  • Mapping and enhancing the supporter journey to increase retention and lifetime value
  • Leveraging data insights and AI tools to optimise campaign effectiveness and donor engagement
