For over 150 years Leprosy Mission Australia has partnered with Australians to ensure that people affected by leprosy across the world get the cure, care, and restoration they need to live life in all its fullness. As part of a global network comprised of 30 Members, they are working together to reach their goal of zero leprosy transmission by 2035. The Leprosy Mission extends the hand of ‘mateship’ to those affected by leprosy, disability and other marginalised people. Their supported programs are on the ground in India, Nepal, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Timor-Leste.

Major Gifts and Bequest Manager

We have an opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to grow our Major Gifts and Bequests portfolio, reporting to the Strategic Relationships Lead, the Major Gifts and Bequest Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding philanthropic partnerships and income across NSW, QLD, and the ACT.
You will lead efforts to acquire new donors, nurture existing relationships, and proactively identify opportunities among non-traditional supporter bases. This position is central to strengthening Leprosy Mission Australia's resources by cultivating major donors and growing the Bequests program. Your work will directly contribute to ending leprosy, empowering affected communities, and driving meaningful social change.

Content and Media Relations Specialist
We are after a Content and Media Relations Specialist, to lead the development of clear, purposeful content that strengthens The Leprosy Mission Australia’s voice and mission. You will drive the organisation’s content and communications strategy, working closely with a creative agency and guiding the Digital Content Coordinator to ensure stories and messaging are aligned, planned, and impactful.
You will take ownership of media relations - shaping media plans, managing outreach and pitching, and cultivating relationships with key outlets to ensure TLMA’s stories reach the audiences who can amplify change.
Working across fundraising, engagement, digital, campaigns, and social enterprise teams, you will oversee content flow and quality, curating material from photographers, videographers, contractors and international program storytellers. You will monitor performance insights to ensure content is used effectively across digital, print, fundraising, and PR channels.
You will also play a central role in strengthening TLMA’s brand and message consistency, crafting compelling, human-centred stories from programs around the world and contributing to major organisational projects, including the Annual Report and impact updates.
